How the color coding works

NETT is two-tone for a reason, not for looks. The solid black side identifies the back of the mesh — the side the ball should never touch. The white center channel pulls your eye straight to the middle diamond, which is the reference point that decides whether your top wall comes out straight or crooked. When you are stringing bottom strings, they should pass through the innermost black diamonds.

If you have ever strung a pocket and realized halfway through that the mesh was inside out, this is the fix.

Specs

Semi-soft, so it breaks in quickly without going bag-soft after a month. Polyester fibers, which means it performs the same wet or dry — no waterlogged pocket after a rainy game. 23 grams. Available as a single piece, a 3-pack, or a 5-pack.

Semi-soft is the right starting point for most players and the safest choice if you are stringing your first pocket. Hard mesh holds its shape longer but takes far more break-in; soft mesh feels great immediately and then keeps moving.
