How to Store Lacrosse Sticks on a Wall

A good lacrosse stick storage setup starts with three things: which way the sticks will hang, what the wall is made of, and how much room each stick needs. Work those out before choosing a holder.

Choose vertical storage or a horizontal rack

Vertical storage keeps the head up and the shaft down. It suits a row of sticks you want to see and grab individually. Leave room for the full stick length and for each head to sit beside its neighbors.

Horizontal storage lays the stick across the wall. It needs hardware designed to support a stick in that orientation. A holder made for vertical storage does not automatically become a horizontal rack when you turn it sideways.

The 5LAX lacrosse stick wall mount is for vertical storage. It does not clip a defense pole horizontally onto the wall.

Lay out your sticks before you mount anything

1. Count the sticks you actually want on display. Start with the ones you reach for most often. Add a separate spot for a backup or favorite custom head.
2. Check the full height. Measure with the head attached. A long pole needs a different amount of space from a short stick.
3. Check the width of the heads. Space holders around the heads, not just the narrow shafts. Leave enough room to lift one stick out without catching the next.
4. Try the arrangement first. Hold the sticks in position before attaching the holders. Check door swings, nearby shelves and whether the player can comfortably reach each stick.

Match the mounting method to the wall

Adhesive mounting can avoid drilled holes, but the surface still matters. Check the exact strip's packaging for approved surfaces, weight limits and installation conditions. A smooth finished surface and a rough masonry wall need different approaches.

5LAX holders use Command Strips. Follow Command's instructions for your strips when preparing the surface, applying them, waiting before loading and removing them. Do not assume every adhesive strip uses the same procedure.

Two holders or five?

A 2-Pack gives one player a spot for a main stick and a backup. A 5-Pack suits a collection or a shared gear area. Each holder gets its own position, so you can arrange them around the wall space you have.
