The problem with premium heads

Pay more. Look the same.

Most heads come off the line identical to the next one. The premium-finished ones that stand out usually run $100 to $115 or more. INK puts a one-of-one finish on a head players already trust, for $74.99.

1+ yeardeveloping the finish

The finish took longer than the head.

We spent over a year with our manufacturing partner on a multi-stage finishing process, then sealed it under a proprietary clear coat that protects the finish and keeps it sharp. Every head goes through it on its own. That's why no two INKs come out exactly alike, and why small differences between units are the point, not a defect.

What's under the finish

It's the RC1.

The same mold players already run at attack and midfield, with nothing changed but the outside.

FINISH

Multi-stage, clear-coated

Applied to each head individually and sealed so it stays sharp through a season.

Keeps the ball in the pocket when you're carrying through pressure.

HOLES

20, and they're numbered

Follow any stringing guide by number instead of by eye, and restring the exact same pocket later.

Universal fit

Drops onto standard lacrosse shafts, including ours.

Before you buy

Does it come strung?

The head ships unstrung, on purpose. No mesh, strings or shooters. If you want it game-ready, pick "Strung by Nosch Pockets" above while those last. Each one is a single strung head.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

No, and that's the idea. Every INK is finished individually, so the pattern and color land a little differently on each head. The photos are real heads in each colorway.

Will it fit my shaft?

Yes. The throat is universal and fits standard lacrosse shafts.

What if it breaks?

The RC1 INK is covered by the Lifetime-ish Warranty. If it breaks, cracks or warps under normal play, send a couple of photos and we replace it. There's no time limit. The only cost on your side is shipping for the replacement.

Does the finish chip?

The finish is sealed under a protective clear coat to keep it sharp. Like any head, it will show normal wear from checks and ground balls over time. Wear isn't breakage, but a crack or snap is covered.

Is it good for a first head?

INK is built for attack and offensive middies, intermediate and up. If this is your first head or your first stringing job, the white RC1 is the same mold for $34.99. Email us if you're not sure.

How fast does it ship?

Orders process in 3 to 5 business days and ship US standard, free on orders over $50. INK is $74.99, so it ships free.
